First Hope Bank Announces Employee Promotions

At the Annual Shareholders Meeting of First Hope Bancorp in April, shareholders reelected Directors Lawrence Mascera, Jr. and Robert F. Rokosz to three-year terms. Chairman Norman E. Beatty addressed the shareholders on a variety of topics including the bank’s continued financial health and its commitment to remain at the technological forefront for the customers of today as well as those of tomorrow. Following the meeting, First Hope’s Board of Directors approved the advancement of four bank associates at the Annual Reorganization Meeting.
Thomas D’Urso , Senior Vice President & Senior Lender for First Hope Bank, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bank’s wholly owned subsidiary, First Hope Mortgages. D’Urso joined First Hope Bank in 2006 as a Vice President & Commercial Loan Officer. Prior to joining First Hope, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Loan Officer at Noble Community Bank in Sparta, New Jersey. A graduate of Biscayne College in Miami, Florida, D’Urso holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management. His background has included formal credit training, including the completion of various commercial credit classes at the American Institute of Banking.
Susan Meehan was promoted to Vice President for Administration & Human Resources. In her current role, Meehan is responsible for the oversight of all functions related to Human Resources and Corporate Administration and handles all administrative duties for the Board of Directors. Meehan began her career at First Hope Bank in 1995 as a Human Resources Assistant. She most recently served as the Assistant Vice President and Human Resources Manager. Susan earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She also serves as Board Secretary for the Sussex-Warren Human Resources Management Chapter and is a member of the New Jersey Bankers Human Resources Committee.
Aimee Zschack was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Trust Officer. In her current role, Aimee is responsible for the end to end administration of trusts and estates for which First Hope Bank serves as the Corporate Fiduciary. Zschack began her career at First Hope Bank in 2001 as a Teller. She held positions of increasing responsibility, serving as Teller Supervisor in the Sparta office, Assistant Branch Manager of the Sparta office and most recently Assistant Trust Officer. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Zschack majored in Business Administration. Aimee has received her Certificate in Basic Administrative Duties of a Trustee from the American Banker’s Association and has completed training on Investment Management, Fiduciary Law, Account Administration, Tax and Estate Planning and other fiduciary specialty topics.
Linda Turczak was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Project Manager. As Project Manager, Linda acts as the liaison for project release and performs analysis to support the Bank’s project strategies and objectives. Turczak began her career at First Hope Bank in 2007 as a Contact Center Representative, advancing to Teller Supervisor in the Andover office, Deposit Services Division Leader and most recently a Business Analyst within First Hope’s Operations area. In her spare time, Linda enjoys reading, beadwork and weaving.
